The 179th ISIJ Meeting is Cancelled. (28/02/2020)

The Iron and Steel Institute of Japan
We have decided to cancel the 179th ISIJ Meeting scheduled from March 17 (Tue.) to 19 (Thu.) at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Ookayama Campus, based on the circumstances of infection of novel coronavirus, COVID-19 in Japan and the announcement form the Government issued on Feb. 25, “Basic Policies for Prevention and Control of the Novel Coronavirus”.
Our cancellation policy of the meeting is as follows.
1. All presentation sessions and parties are cancelled.
2. All the abstracts submitted by the due and accepted will be published in“Current Advances in Materials and Processes: CAMP-ISIJ” as planned and scheduled on March 1.
3. All the abstracts shall be deemed to have been presented at the meeting. We will ask the speakers who have not paid the registration fee to pay the registration fee. The details will be noticed by email. No refund will be made for those who have already paid the registration fee.
4. For those who have paid for the parties in advance, full refund will be made.
We would profoundly appreciate your cooperation and understanding on our decision of the cancellation of the 179th ISIJ meeting.
